A calendar of pictures of abandoned cars might not sound particularly attractive, but BBC Three Counties Radio (3CR) hopes that its 'Minging Motors 2003' calendar will not only raise awareness of the problem of dumped cars, but also raise money for the BBC's Children in Need charity.

BBC 3CR DJ Nick Lawrence, who ran a campaign earlier this year on dumped cars, will appear in the calendar, as does model 'Miss Net World' Lucy Layton (pictured).

The radio station is making 495 copies of this A3-sized calendar, available in exchange for a donation to the charity. Cheques should be made payable to Children In Need, and sent to Nick Lawrence Calendar, BBC 3CR, 1 Hasting Street, Luton LU1 5XL.
