Hi everyone,
This is my first posting here at UK
Screen although I have had a profile here for a long time now.
I
have just returned from Tripoli, Libya where I was competing in the
Miss Net World beauty pageant. I was there for 10 days with 24 other
finalists from around the world, culminating in a Finals night on
the 2nd November 2002. This was an online internet competition and
so the winner was voted for by the general public of the world. You
may have read about it all in various UK/World press, tabloids and
broadsheets, including The Sunday Times, Mail on Sunday,
Independent, Guardian, Daily Star, etc, and BBC Online.
I was
fortunate to win the title of Miss Net World and since returning
have made two guest appearances on TV. The first on the Chris Moyles
Show on Channel 5 on Monday 4th Nov, and the second on The Richard
& Judy show on Wed 6th Nov. Perhaps you saw me ?
Anyhow, just
wanted to take a moment to thank everyone that supported me, voted
for me, or simply took an interest in the contest. It was very
unique, historic and I had a fabulous time !! For further info about

Still can't quite
believe I won ..... but back to the real world now.
